The London Zoo is the world's scientists oldest zoo created over 180 years and is located in the heart of London in Regent's Park.

Although the zoo is located in the center of the city still has a lot to see animals like lions, camels, giraffes, penguins, tigers, monkeys and meerkats. In fact, there are 750 different species of animals and is one of the largest animal collections in the United Kingdom.

The zoo is divided into many different areas that are great fun to explore and make one of the attractions of London's most popular.

Gorilla Kingdom

Gorilla Kingdom enclosure houses a colony of western lowland gorillas, which live alongside black and white monkeys colubus.

The aviary of Africa is full of beautiful birds which share the environment of gorillas and there is a monitor lizard and other animals in Africa.

Butterfly Paradise

As visitors walk in this area are surrounded by beautiful butterflies and moths flying free in Africa, South Asia and Central and South America in search of plants for food and rest.

There is a waiting room where nymphs visitors can see the butterfly chrysalis and finally emerge to help you learn more about their life cycle.

Lions and tigers

London Zoo is home to a family of Asian lions and a pair of Sumatran tigers and visitors can get very close to the beautiful but wild cats endangered species at the zoo.

Aquarius

The Aquarium is also divided into three zones and features many beautiful fish, exotic, strange and magnificent coral reef.

Other new exhibits include the tropical biome, tropical birds walk through insects and exposure

There are several places you can buy food and drinks and souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop.

The London Zoo is located at the north end of Regent's Park, 10 minutes walk along Park Regent's Park tube station on the Bakerloo line, or a short walk from Camden Town tube station on the Northern Line .
