The New York Palace: A Palace Indeed

The New York Palace is a beautiful indeed palatial hotel with a glorious palace like setting facing Madison. I had a room in the tower section on the 51st floor that was pretty big, comfortable with an incredible view. The beds were VERY comfortable, the ac was great. Bathroom was splendid with good water pressure and a nice supply of acqua di parma bath products if you care about that sort of thing. Service was very attentive, professional and on the mark. Check out was easy. Really this is a great luxury experience, but the price was only $279 which is a great deal for NYC during the summer.

Beautiful sweeping staircase leading to the lobby. Wonderful palace like setting. Have a drink or a snack in the courtyard. It ain't cheap but it's great. Also didn't eat at Gilt restaurant but heard very good things about it.

The New York Palace: Why stay anywhere else

We had the pleasure of staying seven nights at this wonderful hotel. The room was very spacious for New York & the view from our room in the towers was amazing. It was a perfect base to explore Manhattan from, being only a couple of minutes walk to Rockefeller Center. The Full American breakfast with we enjoyed every morning was inclusive with the room. The staff were excellent being both courteous & helpful. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. We will certainly be staying there on our next trip to NYC.
